Plan approval and stand construction permit

Special or larger stand structures are subject to approval. Find out about the criteria and the permit.

The criteria for booth structures requiring a permit are:

• stand areas from a size of 100m²
• multi-storey structures
• special constructions
• exhibits higher than 6.5 m
• outdoor structures: mobile stands, tent structures and containers.

Please note that Deutsche Messe’s fair-package or modular stands do not require additional approval.

Here's what you need to keep in mind:

• You have received a confirmation of participation from Deutsche Messe. 
• You must log in to the shop to upload your stand drawing.

If the service "Approval of stand design" is activated, a button appears here that forwards you directly to the shop. There you can upload your stand construction drawing. The Technical Regulations can be found directly in the service.
