This price covers the service from the first to the last day of the event.

Enjoy the convenience of starting the day with a clean stand. Let our professional cleaners handle the job. Starting on the evening of day one of the event, our service partner will ensure daily cleaning/care of your stand throughout the event.

Supplement this service with our One-time Initial cleaning before the start of the event. Our basic service covers cleaning your stand, as required, after setup. We also offer useful extra services such as exhibit and glass care: a spotless stand really attracts visitors!

Please note:

  • The daily cleaning does not replace the initial cleaning on the last set up day.
  • The price/m² for daily cleaning is charged only once for the entire event.
  • We recommend using our service to dispose of recyclable and non-recyclable waste and packaging.

Purchase order terms for category Stand cleaning

General
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their stands during the event.

Exhibitors who do not use their own staff for cleaning, must request Deutsche Messe to handle this service.

All services will be provided by Deutsche Messe's authorized service partner, pursuant to a contract or order.
Kindly note that an order is binding only if placed at least 14 days before the event starts. Late orders are accepted under reserve. Our service partners will check if they can schedule the order.
Force majeure, operational disruptions, or other difficulties in connection with the availability of labor, which are beyond the control of Deutsche Messe or its service providers, shall release them from any obligation to render the contractual services.

You may not contract a third party to clean the stand, unless cleared in advance with Deutsche Messe's coordinator for the cleaning of stands.

Please ensure that power is available for use by the cleaning staff. Kindly contact our service partner to make arrangements for the cleaning staff to gain access to closed rooms. 

Services

One Time Initial cleaning of stands before the tradeshow opens will be done by the last setup day. In your order, please indicate when you would like your stand to be cleaned and make sure that it is set up by that time, or at least 12 hours before the requested start of the cleaning, to allow the service provider to clean punctually. You have no right to demand that the service be rendered by the service partner, in any event, at the requested time. You must place your request in advance for extra services like the cleaning of exhibits, high stand walls (<2.50 m), or glass surfaces.

Daily cleaning of stands during the event is done from 6:30 pm to about 1:00 am the next day. This service includes the floor (wash floors, vacuum carpets), cleaning of flat (horizontal) surfaces of stand fixtures, and emptying the wastebasket. Removal of waste exceeding the wastebasket size will be charged per the item, Set of Garbage Bags (see our Service "Waste disposal"). An order for the service, Cleaning and Emptying the Wastebasket, covers the total floor area. The cost for the entire event is calculated as follows: floor area (m²) x unit price/m². Exhibits and glass surfaces are cleaned only by special order.

Daily cleaning of a stand does not replace the need for initial cleaning of the stand before the event!
 
If you wish to have your exhibits cleaned, please indicate the specific items and how they are to be cleaned. Our authorized service provider will contact you in advance to discuss the necessary details.

Complaints
You must file a complaint of any apparent problems promptly, in writing, to Deutsche Messe and the relevant service provider by 10:00 am on the cleaning day of the event. Please state your hall and stand number and describe the problem. The cleaning service shall be deemed satisfactorily performed, unless you complain on time. Late complaints will not be considered. Deutsche Messe shall remedy a problem that is clear; a discount may be claimed only if such remedy is fruitless.

Liability, Warranty
1) Liability, Liability Exclusion or Limitation
Deutsche Messe shall be liable to the extent prescribed by law for damage claims arising from a breach of the contractual warranty provisions set forth in the agreement, and for endangerment to life or bodily injury or health, and for damages arising from acts of intent or gross negligence on the part of Deutsche Messe or its legal representatives or vicarious agents.

Deutsche Messe shall not be liable for damages arising from inadvertent negligence on its part or that of its legal representatives or vicarious agents, regardless of the legal nature of the claim. In particular, Deutsche Messe shall not be liable for claims of a breach of the principles of good faith in contracting, neglect of duty, or claims of property damage or financial losses.

The liability exclusion shall not govern the breach of any obligation whose fulfilment is a prerequisite to properly execute the trade fair agreement, and whereby the exhibitor would normally depend on compliance with such an obligation ("material breach"). Under these circumstances, Deutsche Messe's liability shall be limited to damages that typically arise within the framework of the contract.

2) Warranty
The exhibitor shall have the right to a warranty claim, only if the claim arises from limited fitness or unfitness of the contractual service, and only if in-spite of having granted Deutsche Messe two reasonable grace periods to remedy the problem, Deutsche Messe could neither resolve the problem nor provide a replacement/substitute.


Pricing terms for category Stand cleaning

Unless otherwise stated, prices are net prices plus statutory VAT.
Only the prices shown on the order form or order screen on the day of the order apply. These are also listed in the confirmation of receipt of the order, which the exhibitor automatically receives immediately after placing his order.

Charges
Charges are based on the amount of work actually performed; each half-hour or part thereof is charged for in full.

Billing for our "Daily stand cleaning & emptying the wastebasket" service is based on the entire stand space, as listed in the official hall layout plan.

Billing for multistory stands is calculated by the actual space to be cleaned on the upper floors.

The schedule of discounts for stand cleaning applies only to the daily cleaning service during the tradeshow, not to the initial cleaning before the tradeshow, or to cleaning of glass surfaces, or any special cleaning services.

The price schedule shown for daily cleaning refers to our preferential rates.

Cancellation terms for category Stand cleaning

The following deadlines and charges apply to cancelled orders:

Initial cleaning service
Between 13 and 3 days before the event begins: Fixed rate of EUR 0.38/m² of listed stand space
Less than 3 days before the event begins:           Fixed rate of EUR 0.76/m² of listed stand space

Daily cleaning service
Between 13 and 3 days before the event begins: 50 % of the order value
Less than 3 days before the event begins:          100 % of the order value
