Purchase order terms for category Stand parties

If you want to hold an evening event (e.g. stand party with your clients, happy hour or get-together limited to stand personnel) on your own stand, you must obtain written approval from Deutsche Messe AG.

Events are allowed to start right after the end of the trade fair and must finish by 11:00 p.m. You may then clear up your stand until 11:30 p.m. An evening event is not concluded as long as at least one person, apart from stand security or cleaning personnel, occupies the stand.

The exhibitor has to appoint a person who is authorized to decide and takes responsibility for the security (stand manager in charge) of the evening event. The stand manager in charge is committed to attend the stand party and be available at any time. If necessary, he/she has to take decisions in consultation with the responsible contact persons at Deutsche Messe AG, the authorities and external staff (fire department, police, building authority, office for public policy, medical service). The stand manager in charge is obiged to end the stand party if any people are at risk.

Please bear in mind, that evening events may be taking place in your immediate surroundings at the same time.

While conducting the evening event, exhibitors are confined exclusively to their rented stand space. Stand furniture shall not be placed in the aisles; escape and emergency routes must be kept unobstructed without fail. Changes to the stand layout that has been approved (stand architecture, escape route etc.) are not permitted.

The exhibitor shall ensure that the stand area provides sufficient space for guests and stand personal at all times.

During and after the event you shall have supervisory personnel who ensure that neither guests nor your stand personnel enter other company's stands. If damage to or theft from other stands is discovered that is obviously connected with the evening event at your stand, then you will be held responsible for the damage or theft.

Regarding those of your external service providers who do not enter the exhibiton premises by car, please provide them with valid complimentary tickets for the entrance gates.

The names of service providers, who enter the exhibiton premises by vehicle after 5 p.m. at the West 1 gate must be announced in writing. The submission of the approved application also serves as proof of identity.

Your supervisory personnel must also ensure that the fire prevention regulations are adhered to. Fire extinguishers must be on site and ready for use. You can order fire extinguishers from Minimax Mobile Services GmbH & Co. KG, phone +49(0) 511 97839999 or mobil_hannover@minimax.de or at the shop under Fittings for your tradeshow stand.

The performance of evening events is subject to the Technical Regulations of Deutsche Messe. Instructions of the hall inspectors as well as security personnel employed by Deutsche Messe must be followed.

In case of emergency, please dial the fairground emergency no. +49 (0)511 89112.

Musical presentations (either pre-recorded or live) are not allowed to start before 5:30 p.m. and even then, the noise level must be kept at such a level so as not to disturb people at neighboring stands. Any type of music that is presented must be registered with GEMA regional office and the corresponding fee paid, please see in our shop "GEMA (notification of music use)".

All decorative materials used must be nonflammable and not drip burning pieces/drops pursuant to the DIN 4102-1 B1 or EN 13501-1 C s3 d0 standards. Open fires and naked flames are explicitly prohibited.

The use of candles or similar as a light source for table decoration shall at least fulfill the fire safety requirement DIN 4102 B1 (nonflammable). They can only be used as storm lamps (glas tube higher than flame).
